We are making this exam available for all for this year but in the coming years it will only be available for GATE CS Applied Course students. Next year we will also include at least 1 mock papers other than this based on the pattern of PGEE 2021.
Hope this will be useful for your preparation.
Applicants need to appear for a computer-based examination conducted by IIIT-H. Candidates shortlisted from this exam will have to clear an interview to gain admission. The decision on the final offer of admission is solely based on the interview performance. Computer-based entrance test with Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) will be conducted in many cities across India on April 18, 2021 (Sunday). The entrance examination consists of the following two papers:
General aptitude paper - 90 Minutes
Computer Science and Engineering - 90 Minutes

Duration of Programmes
The M.Tech program in Computer Science and Engineering imparts a breadth of advanced knowledge in various areas of computer science. The program is designed such that a student can complete it based on advanced coursework alone. However, the students are given the option to concentrate on a problem by substituting some of the courses with equivalent project work.
The first semester of the M.Tech. program is aimed at providing the necessary breadth in Computer Science and at integrating the students with the instructional philosophy of IIIT Hyderabad. The subsequent semesters aim at providing avenues for specializing in one or more streams within computer science.
M.Tech in CSIS is aimed at producing the much needed highly skilled manpower in the area of Information Security. The program is being supported by the Information Security Education and Awareness (ISEA) project from the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology (MCIT). It is a 2-year master’s program. An applicant to this program is required to be a B.Tech in CS/ECE/IT or MCA with BSc. (Maths) or MSc (Maths/CS). The course is mainly research-oriented. Students for this program are selected by a nationwide test followed by a rigorous interview. The program also has few International students and part-time students from the industry. Security, Theory, and Algorithms (C-STAR) has highly qualified faculty, good computing facilities, and a well-equipped center library apart from the central library of the institute.
The center takes about 10 students every year for the M.Tech CSIS program. All M.Tech CSIS students are paid a stipend for living expenses as per project rules. The candidate must be an Indian citizen and enrolled under a full-time M.Tech CSIS program to be eligible for a stipend. Some of the recruiters of previous M.Tech CSIS batch include Computer Associates, RSA Labs, nVidia, CDAC, Movius Corp., etc.
The two-year program contains a mix of courses from Computer Science, information security, security management, and advanced elective courses.
The MS program in Computer Science and Engineering imparts the knowledge, skills and attitude to contribute to world-class research in the area of computer science. MS students are expected to publish their work in leading international journals and conferences pertaining to their area of research. Research programs leading to M.S/Ph.D. degrees are the main thrust in the institute. These programs attract students from all corners of the country, in addition to some international students.
The research programs have a limited amount of course work, essentially to prepare the student to carry out research, and to develop adequate breadth in the subject area. The main emphasis is on the research work leading to a thesis. This involves delving in-depth into a research topic and includes grasping, evaluating and refining ideas, mathematical rigor, problem formulation, literature survey, implementation (programming) and performance evaluation. Typically students decide on their research area and faculty advisor within the first year while doing course work. Thereafter, the steps involved are finishing course work (to build research background and breadth) and thesis defense.
